There’s Joy in Volunteering: Make-A-Wish Foundation

March 23, 2010

If you would like to discover the rewards of giving back, and need some ideas about great places to start, this month I’m doing a series highlighting two worthy organizations: Make-A-Wish Foundation and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children). This episode focuses on the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants the wishes of chidren who have life threatening conditions. Kim Judy, the Volunteer Manager in the Georgia/Alabama region, explains more about the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and how to get involved. If you would like to learn more about the Make-A-Wish Foundation, please visit their national website by clicking here. If you are a resident of Georgia or Alabama, please visit their local website by clicking here.
