Joy visits with John Vernon, the director of the Jesus Place Inner City Mission,in Atlanta. This mission serves primarily men, either homeless or just out of jail (which is just down the street from the mission). The mission distributes food and clothing with the help of companies and volunteers. The mission also runs a 6-12 month recovery program designed to provide homeless men with jobs, housing, and spiritual growth.
