There’s Joy in Dog Training: Part I

Joy chats with Jenny Schneider, a professional dog trainer, about the basics of dog training – why, how, and what are involved in training your “best friend”. Jenny is an advocate of positive training, using clickers for facilitating communication of the behavior desired from the dog. A key feature of her methods is making training a fun game, which the dog will enjoy, and, at the same time, develop a better relationship with the owner and other people the dog meets as a result of the training.
